WINDMILL IN NOVÉ DVORY — commented experiential tour

Did you know that the windmill in Nové Dvory has the most modern preserved milling equipment and that is unique in the entire Czech Republic? Or that there were almost 70 of these windmills in the Bílovec region in the mid-19th century?

If you didn't know the answer, you will certainly be pleased to have the opportunity of a guided tour around this beautiful technical monument, which forms a small dominant in Nové Dvory near Stará Ves. We would like to revive the mill, that is why we have prepared regular guided tours for you led by the miller. In addition to many interesting information, the guided tour of the windmill will also include a bread tasting. Bread comes from local organic farming. You also get the opportunity to take a photo with the mill mascot, the elf Picmoch Jeroným, or try grinding some flour from grain on a manual rotary mill.

This guided tour has been included in the Techno Route for the sixth year now - a project that presents the most interesting technical attractions from the entire Moravian-Silesian Region.
